In November of that year we decided that we needed a break "for us". Since mid 2004 we had been non stop dealing with Visas, packing, moving, storage, form filling.....we needed a rest!
We chose Spaviews which can be found at Witta nr Maleny. It is a gorgeous 3 suite hotel, I suppose. We chose the Maple suite that you will be able to see from the pictures on the page.
The idea was that we relax and do , well nothing. We took good books with us and bought wine! You name it!
Spaviews package that we had was great. For $660 for three nights we had the room, en suite, private deck and spa overlooking the Blackall Ranges. Excellent sunsets, breakfast served to your room. Free afternoon tea...need I go on??
While at Spa Views we visited Maleny, Montville and Mapleton. We had a marvellous time. The days were spent exploring and the nights were spent at a local restaurant eating and drinking!!
We combined the 3 days sspa break with a few days at Noosa with family. I was given my inaugural surfing lesson by Peter Greaves whilst at Sunshine Beach. I was being "launched" (for want of a better word!!) by Peter and husband Mark into the waves.
I did NOT get dumped! Im proud of that!!!
WE had a great break that we desperately had needed after the moving, packing and long flights!!
While at Noosa we took a ride up the beach in the 4x4 Jackaroo. That was an experience and a half. You can see by the picture!!
